Cn. Cornelius Lentulus Clodianus. AR Denarius, 88 BC. Obv. Helmeted bust of Mars right, seen from behind. Rev. Victory in biga right; in exergue, CN·LENTVL. Cr. 345/1; B. (Cornelia) 50. AR. 3.97 g. 19.00 mm. Interesting overstrike with apparently more recent subtype: head of Liber right (from the Quinarius of M. Cato, 89 BC) on busto of Mars of Cn. Cornelius Lentulus Clodianus. Good VF.
