Carausius (287-293). BI Antoninianus. Obv. IMP C CARAVSIVS P AVG. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. PA-X AVG. Pax standing left, holding olive branch and sceptre; in the fields; S-C. RIC V 476. BI. 4.21 g. 23.50 mm. Choice example. Large flan. Wonderful portrait. Lovely brown patina. Rare as such. EF. Ex Artemide XXIII, 2008, 227.
