Antoninus Pius (138-161). AE Sestertius. Rome mint. Struck circa AD 147. Obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP TR P COS IIII. Laureate head right. Rev. SALVS AVG SC. Salus standing left, feeding from patera a serpent coiled around and rising from altar to left, holding rudder on globe. RIC III 784. AE. 23.21 g. 30.00 mm. Lovely orichalcum surfaces. Good VF.
