Greek Italy. Southern Lucania, Metapontum. AE 18 mm, c. 300-250 BC. Obv. Head of Athena facing slightly right, wearing pearl necklace and triple-crested helmet decorate with laurel wreath. Rev. Barley ear; META upwards to left, cross-torch to right. HN Italy 1682; Johnston, Bronze 46. AE. 3.62 g. 18.00 mm. Lovely untouched light green patina. EF.
