Julia Mamaea, mother of Severus Alexander (died 225 AD). AE Sestertius, struck under Severus Alexander, 232 AD. Obv. IVLIA MAMAEA AVGVSTA. Diademed and draped bust right. Rev. FECVNDITAS AVGVSTAE SC. Fecunditas standing left, holding cornucopiae and extending hand to child. RIC IV (Sev. Alex.) 668. AE. 19.26 g. 30.00 mm. Nice brown patina with ochre dusting. Good VF.
