Sicily. Akrai. AE 22 mm, after 210 BC. Obv. Wreathed head of Persephone right. Rev. Demeter standing left, holding torch and sceptre; ethnic around. HGC 2 180; CNS III 1; SNG ANS 902 ff. AE. 7.94 g. 22.00 mm. R. Rare issue. Nice mottled green patina. Good VF. This is the only issue attributed to Akrai.
