P. Crepusius. AR Denarius, Rome mint, 82 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo right; on the left, sceptre; below chin, grasshopper. Rev. Horseman galloping right; on the left, [control-numeral]; in exergue, P·CREPVSI. Cr. 361/1b-c; B. 1 (Crepusia). AR. 4.12 g. 17.00 mm. Great metal and full weight. Slightly off centre. Superb iridescent tone. EF.
