Gordian III (238-244 AD). AR Drachm, Caesarea mint, Cappadocia. Obv. ΑΥ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC. Laureate head right. Rev. MHTPO KAI BNE. Mount Argaeus; in exergue, ETE (= regnal year 5= 242/3 AD). SNG Cop. 305. AR. 3.64 g. 17.00 mm. Nicely toned. Good VF.
