Gordian III (238-244 AD). AE Sestertius, 4th issue. Obv. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. P M TR P IIII COS II P P SC. Gordian in military dress, standing right, holding transverse sceptre and globe. RIC IV 306. AE. 18.53 g. 32.50 mm. Lovely olive green patina. Good VF.
