Philip II (247-249). AE Sestertius, 246-249 AD. Obv. IMP PHILIPPVS AVG. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. PAX AETERNA SC. Pax standing facing, head left, holding branch and transverse sceptre. RIC IV 268. AE. 21.14 g. 28.50 mm. A very attractive example, struck on a compact thick flan. About EF.
