Torque series. AR Victoriatus, uncertain mint, 211-208 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Jupiter right. Rev. Victory standing right, crowning trophy; in field, torque; above torque, compass dot; in exergue, ROMA. Cr. 91/1a. AR. 2.70 g. 17.00 mm. RRR. Extremely rare and very seldom offered. Sound metal for issue. Lightly toned VF. The dot in the centering point has made by the compass in the die, for describing the linear border or the circle used to align the border dots.
