Description
Faustina I, wife of Antoninus Pius (died 141 AD). AE Sestertius, Rome mint, struck under Antoninus Pius. DIVA FAVSTINA. Draped bust right. / IVNO SC. Iuno standing left, holding patera and sceptre. RIC III (Ant. Pius) 1143. AE. 32.28 g. 34.50 mm. A superb portrait on a broad medallic flan. Uneven reddish brown patina, with green spots. VF.
