Laureate head of Julius Caesar right; behind, jug. Cr. 488/2. B. 55. AR. g. 2.96 mm. 19.00 RR. Very rare. Full weight. Banker's marks. Old cabinet tone. About VF. The issue belongs to the period between the declaration of Antonius as a hostis in April 43 and the days immediately after the formation of the Triumvirate in the autumn of 43. (Crawford, RRC I, p. 498).
