Description
Aelius (Caesar, 136-138). AE As, 137 AD. D/ L. AELIVS CAESAR. Bare head right. R/ TR POT COS II SC. Fortuna-Spes standing facing, head left, holding flower and cornucopiae. RIC - (cf. 1065: "cornucopiae and rudder"); C.-(cf. 64: same). AE. g. 12.09 mm. 26.00 RR. A very rare variety, apparently unpublished. Dark green brown patina with reddish highlights. Good VF.
