Obverse: Invocative cruciform monogram, inscribed in the 4 corners: ΘΕΟΤΟΚΕ ΒΟΗΘΕΙ ΤΩ CΩ ΔΟΥΛΩ= Θεοτόκε, βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ (Mother of God, help your servant), all within dotted border.

Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines: ΘΕΟΔΩ/ΡΩ Β(ΑCΙΛΙΚΩ) ΚΑΝ/ΔΙΔ(ΑΤΩ) Κ(ΑΙ) Δ[Ρ]ΟΓΓΑΡΙ[Ω]/...= Θεοδώρῳ βασιλικῷ κανδιδάτῳ καὶ δρουγγαρίῳ... (Theodoros imperial kandidatos and droungarios...), all within dotted border.
