New Jersey.... $1000 6% 1st Mortgage Gold Coupon Bond, Black print on black border with tan/orange under tint on large sized certificate, Locomotive pulling into town at top passing farm lands, POC's along bottom, VF condition, Kendall Bank Note Co. Signed by Collis Potter Huntington (October 22, 1821 - August 13, 1900) as President of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company at left. Huntington was an American industrialist and railway magnate. He was one of the Big Four of western railroading (along with Leland Stanford, Mark Hopkins, and Charles Crocker) who invested in Theodore Judah's idea to build the Central Pacific Railroad as part of the first U.S. transcontinental railroad.
