Description

Chile, ca,1880's, Lot of 2 proof vignettes printed in black on white india paper used on the reverse and obverse of 4 different Chile notes, Includes: 1885. Banco de Concepcion, 1 Peso, P-S176, portrait the Statue of Caupolican holding bow that is used on the back of the notes; and 1881, Republica de Chile, an image of the National Museum building, 1 Peso, P-1 used on the obverse of the note; also used on the 1 Peso, P-11; and also used on the obverse of the 1898 to 1919, 1 Peso, P-15 and 1898, 1 Peso, Provisional Issue on Republica de Chile overprinted on P-11 used on P-52. Both Uncirculated to Gem Uncirculated and are rare proof vignettes. ABNC. (2)
