Milford and Owego Turnpike Road Co. 1840s Issued Stock Certificate
Pennsylvania, 1840s. 1 Share I/U Capital Stock Certificate, S/N 2868, Black text and handwriting with embossed company seal at left. Fine-VF condition. The privately owned Milford and Owego Turnpike Road was incorporated on Jan. 26, 1807. The road ran from Milford, PA to Owego, NY via Willsonville, Palmyra, Dyberry, Canaan, Rix's Gap, and Montrose.
