Roman Republic. C. Piso L. f. Frugi (Cicero’s step-son). Denarius AR 67 BC, Rome.
Obv. Bust of Apollo left, hair bound with taenia; S and two pellets behind.
Rev. C. PISO L. F. FRV. (Caius Piso Lucii Filius Frugi) - Horseman galloping right, holding reins and palm frond tied with fillet.

Exceptional coin, well struck with a high relief and a blue toning on the obverse. Traces of corrosion at the bottom of the reverse.
