EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC/AEGEAN BRONZE SWORD

Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A cast bronze sword with a large blade bearing sharpened edges and a shallow midrib on both sides. The long tang was utilised to grip the handle and secure the pommel. Even layers of green patina have developed over the millennia across the weapon’s surfaces.
