EGYPTIAN QUARTZ ROD
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A quartz ritual rod comprising a cylindrical elongated body enlarged on each finial to form conical-shaped edges. The surface is polished throughout the object. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
