ROMAN BRONZE STATUETTE OF VENUS
Ca. AD 100 - 300 A Roman bronze bust of the goddess Venus. The goddess is represented nude with outstretched arms and looking forward. Her elaborately arranged hair is tied and bound in a topknot.
Size: 40mm x 35mm; Weight: 45g
Provenance: Private UK collection; previously acquired on the Holland art market, P.C., pre 2000.
