LATE ROMAN GOLD RING DEPICTING AN EMPEROR WITH GREEK INSCRIPTIONS
Ca. AD 300 - 400 A late Roman gold ring with a square bezel, upon which is an engraving of an emperor from the House of Constantine. He is depicted facing left, wearing a tunic and sporting a close, short hairstyle. The portrait is flanked by a Greek inscription.
