Ca. 100 BC - AD 50 A Roman carnelian intaglio representing three figures. On the left is Paris Alexander and on the right is Venus seated on the throne dressed in a long tunic and wearing a large diadem. The Roman intaglio is set in a high carat, possibly later gold openwork ring.
