APULIAN RED FIGURE LEKANIS WITH WINGED VICTORY AND LADY OF FASHION
Ca. 330 - 300 BC An Apulian red-figure lekanis decorated with a lady of fashion and a winged victory, alternated with two stylised palmette. A series of vertical stripes adorn the outer periphery of the rim, meeting the black-painted body below. Twin loop handles protrude from either side of the raised bowl, while the large knob atop of the lid displays a sunburst design. For similar see: MET Museum Accession Number: 2021.40.31a, b.
