GROUP OF THREE CHINESE TANG DYNASTY TERRACOTTA LADIES - TL TESTED

Ca. AD 619 - 906 A collection of three Tang dynasty terracotta ladies. The figures are wearing matching dresses painted in red and brown pigments. The first two figures, on the left, are standing and holding vessels. The third figure is holding an instrument.

Provenance: UK private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong.
The figure on the right has been precisely dated using a thermoluminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. The report will accompany the lot.
