MESOPOTAMIAN PINK QUARTZ CYLINDER SEAL - ORIGINAL LAMBERT REPORT
Ca. 800 - 500 BC A Mesopotamian pink quartz cylinder seal depicting a tree, a cross and a leaping dolphin. Cylinder seals were used to verify the quality and quantity of the products stored in vases and containers. Accompanied by a signed scholarly note by Professor Wilfrid George Lambert.

Provenance: Property of a London gallery; formerly with a Mayfair Art dealer S.A.; Ex. 1990s London collections, studied and catalogued by professor Lambert in the early 90s (with original note, signed by him). Previously in an old British collection formed since the 1960s.
