NISHAPUR GLAZED BOWL WITH PHYTOMORPHIC MOTIF
Ca. AD 900 - 1100 A Nishapur glazed pottery bowl sitting upon an unglazed discoid foot with a deep basin, all enveloped in creamy white and emerald green glaze. The exterior of the straight walls are adorned with sgraffito decoration of floral motifs atop a striped ground. The interior is decorated with a phytomorphic central design.
