WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SPIKED AXE HEAD
Ca. 1200 - 900 BC A Western Asiatic bronze axe head of intimidating form bearing a vertical blade edge that extends from a lengthy neck. The cylindrical socket shaft is lined with four short spikes that were perhaps used as a secondary striking head.
