BYZANTINE BREAD STAMP WITH INSCRIPTION KARPOI
Ca. AD 400 - 600 A moon-shaped bronze bread stamp with rows of Greek letters (Karpoi) within a thick bronze border. The verso has a loop handle with an applied flat panel at the center.
