ROMAN BRONZE STATUETTE OF HORSE
Ca. AD 100 - 300 A fine cast bronze statuette of a horse depicted striding forward and looking on his right side. The horse may have been modeled after a larger statue that graced a public space in ancient Rome. The horse has a long tail and stands with its head slightly turned, its long nose has finely incised details. The representation of the body hair is the main characteristic of this statue.
