ROMAN GOLD RING WITH INSCRIBED BEZEL
Ca. AD 200 - 300 A Roman gold ring composed of a slender, angular hoop with a polygonal section. It has large inscribed shoulders with the letters "Alpha" and "Omega" to form a high bezel with the Latin inscription "FERM". For similar see: El legado de Hefesto, n. 392.
