BURNISHED CYPRIOT POTTERY JUG WITH POLISHED SURFACE
Ca. 2300 - 1650 BC A Cypriot or Holy Land pottery jug of attractive form with a large pear shape body connected to a short narrow neck and a flared vertical rim; a short handle with thumb support is set between the shoulders and the neck. The exterior surface is extremely polish and embellish with red/brown hues.
