GROUP OF EGYPTIAN STONE MACE HEADS
Ca. 3100 - 2900 BC A set of 3 Egyptian carved mace heads, each of relatively spherical form with a hole drilled bi-conically from top to bottom. The first weapon is carved from a pale red stone; the second exhibits a grey/black hue; the third is grey. The grey mace and the largest mace head exhibit scattered clear deposits that stand out nicely against the stone colour.
