OMAYAD GOLD RING WITH INTAGLIO

Ca. AD 700 - 800 An Omayad intaglio gold ring composed of a slender hoop with narrow shoulders. These shoulders are decorated with stylised flowers and are connected to a bezel with a chalcedony intaglio. The intaglio is engraved with a stylised inscription.
