MEROVINGIAN SILVER RING WITH MONOGRAM
Ca. AD 400 - 700 An elegant Merovingian bronze ring featuring a round hoop with a flat section connected to the bezel, which is engraved with a monogram. The shoulders are decorated with a step. This silver ring from the early medieval era has a deep connection to merchant activities, as monograms were often used as a signature and seal in early medieval society.
