ROMAN BRICK WITH RECTANGULAR INPRINT
Ca. Ad 100 - 300 A polygonal terracotta roof brick with a rectangular inscribed stamp, maybe a symbol of a legion. The brick remains a pale red colour, as the oven did not reach a high enough temperature in the production process. For similar see: The British Museum, number 1915,1229.19.
