PAIR OF CELTIC BRONZE BRACELETS

Ca. 100 BC A pair of Celtic bronze bracelets with a thick composition cast. These heavy accessories have a round hoop widening in the middle. There is some lovely patina on both bracelets. An amazing example of high-quality bronze-smithing from ancient Europe. For similar see: Bompiani's I Celti, (1989), p. 274.
