MASSIVE INDUS VALLEY JAR WITH ZEBU BULL

Ca. 3000 - 2000 BC An Indus Valley wheel-thrown jar decorated with a geometric motif and a procession of zebu bulls. It has a squat foot, a gobular body, and a flared rim. The orange-slipped exterior features a procession of horned Zebu bulls surrounded by stylised representations of plants and trees.
