GREEK BRONZE HANDLE WITH ZEUS

Ca. 400 - 200 BC A Greek cast-bronze handle with two primary components. The handle is comprised of semicircular grip decorated in the centre with moulded rings. The main part of the body of the handle is the lower panel embellished with a stylised head of Zeus with open eyes, fleshy lips, and long hair, beard, and moustache.
