GREEK HELLENISTIC GOLD FITTINGS WITH ROSETTE PATTERN

A set of four gold fittings, each presenting a circular shape. Each piece is adorned with a raised large globule at the centre, surrounded by nine radiating petals. Between each petal, there is a perforation suggestive of possible attachment. The reverse side of these fittings also features additional long pins designed for attachment purposes.

Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
