CHINESE MING DYNASTY GLAZED TERRACOTTA HORSE WITH A RIDER

A moulded terracotta figure depicting a rider on horseback. The horse's neck stretches forward, and its tail is depicted in a loose, flowing manner. The animal's mane is glazed in green. The horse's trappings, including the bridle, breastplate, saddle blanket, and breeching, are all moulded in the round and colored in a green and yellow glaze. The rider is depicted wearing a cap and a green and yellow garment.
