RARE HELLENISTIC PAIR OF GOLD ROUNDEL BROOCHES

A pair of exceptionally crafted roundel brooches. They feature intricate gold wire filigree decorations showcasing a stylised sunburst design with five concentric bands, all adorned with rayed and geometric elements. Each brooch is further enriched with a central raised button. The presence of an exquisite red-brown patina on the ancient surface adds to their allure.
