HEAVY PTOLEMAIC GOLD ARM RING

A heavy gold spiral snake arm ring, terminating with a tapered loop tail and opposing moulded snake head with one remaining blue sapphire or glass inset eye. A fantastic example of Egyptian jewellery featuring a copper core with very thick and entirely preserved 22/23 carat gold sheet. Excellent condition and wearable.
