An interesting iron dagger of a quite lethal form. Blade sharpened on each edge, Cross hilt, thin handle once supporting a wooden grip, brazil nut shaped pommel. Oakshott pommel type J. This fine example probably belonged to a knight, who may have used it as a second weapon in close combat fighting.
