MEDIEVAL IRON SWORD

Ca. 1400-1500 AD
An iron sword comprising of a broad triangular blade with rounded tip and fuller to the upper third of each face, broad tang, truncated pommel bounded in leather. The hilt is s-shaped with tongue-shaped quillons with a stepped central panel. Cf.
