A RARE CAUCASIAN SILVER-MOUNTED KINJAL DAGGER WITH TURQUISE
The Caucasus, ca. 19th century AD
With a pointy blade with three grooves, the silver-mounted filigree-decorated scabbard is richly chiseled and decorated with niello floral motifs and ornaments on the reverse with turquoise cabochons. Dated 1909 on the back of the scabbard. The grip is made of two carved polished horn scales. Condition: Very good.
