A rare Luristan bronze pair of harness rings; cast in a beautiful style, each depicting a stag with long, curved horns between two zoomorphic beasts. A great example that once was part of the elaborate equipment of an important person’s horse. Cf. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Accession Number: 1988.102.23.
