LATE MEDIEVAL IRON DAGGER
Ca. 15th-16th Century AD.
A late medieval dagger, amusingly called a ‘Bollock Dagger’. This has a thin steel blade and a one piece hilt and cross guard, probably made of wood. A metal ferule protrudes from under the cross guard, this was designed to match up with the dagger sheath. The blade is slightly bent and surface pitted, it is otherwise of excellent condition
