ROMAN TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP WITH WINGED CUPID
Ca. 100-200 AD.
A terracotta oil lamp featuring a large, rounded concave body, a short nozzle, a small handle, and a filling hole slightly off the centre of the discus. The discus depicts a figural scene of a winged Cupid, facing right and is framed with incised concentric circles.
